Open RecMaster from your desktop or the Start menu. You’ll be greeted by a clean interface that’s ready to go.
Let’s tweak a few settings to ensure your recordings are just right. There are 7 recording modes you can choose from in RecMaster.
1. Full Screen: You can record the entire screen with the system audio, your microphone, and/or webcam. If you have multiple monitors, you can choose to record specific monitors. And what’s more, you can set RecMaster to start recording automatically as soon as the software starts or the System starts in full-screen mode.
2. Custom Area: You can drag to select the area to record. In this mode, you can even drag to record multiple screens as long as you cover them in the recording area. You can also select to record videos in 9:16 aspect ratios.
3. Game Mode: If you hope to record PC games, you can record the gameplay videos in Game Mode. RecMaster can detect the game and record the game in FPS. If the game cannot be detected in this mode, you can record it with the Full Screen or Custom Area mode.
4. Program Window: In this mode, you can set RecMaster to record a specific window without being disturbed by other windows covering it. As long as the recorded window is not resized, the recording will not be disturbed. You can do your other work on the computer while it’s recording.
5. Follow Cursor: If you hope to record a specific area around your moving cursor, you can choose the follow cursor mode.
6. Webcam: In this mode, you can record your face with the webcam connected to your computer with your voice on the microphone and background music on the system audio.
7. Audio Only: With the audio-only mode, you can record audiobooks, songs, podcasts, and more with ease.
Click on the settings option on the Menu and go to the Video tab, you can select your desired video quality. Higher quality means larger file sizes, so balance quality with file management based on your needs. The default and recommended options normally provide the best match for the file size and quality.
After choosing a recording mode, you can decide if you want to capture system audio, microphone input, or both. This option is key for tutorials or gameplay commentary! You can enable the Webcam to record your face as well.
