The webcam window will pop up and you can move it freely on the computer screen. There is a floating bar in the upper right corner of the window, you are able to set its resolution, spin, or flip it. If all looks good, hit the big red REC button. After the three-second countdown, the software will automatically record your computer screen and your webcam screen into a video.

How to Record Webcam Video on Windows 11?

Step 1: Choose Webcam mode

First, find Webcam mode in Other Modes and hit this button.

Step 2: Set the sound and camera

At the same time, the Webcam window will pop up. If you have several webcams on your computer, you can choose the one you want to use. If you can’t find your target camera, please click the refresh icon and search again.

Step 3: Start the webcam recording

Once you’re happy with this, click the REC bottom and the webcam recording will start. Tip: If you are using the webcam to record video for the first time, It’s easy to get nervous and start speaking too quickly, which can lead to stumbling over your words. So try to speak slowly and clearly. And don’t forget to make eye contact with the webcam.

Step 4: Pause, resume or stop webcam recording

During the webcam recording, you can see the recording time and the file size of the video. If you want to pause, hit the blue icon. If you think it’s time to stop recording,  click the red button and the recorded video will be automatically saved in the recording list.

Step 5: Play, rename or delete the recorded webcam video

In the Recording List. You’ll be able to play, edit, rename or delete it. Then, you can click the Upload icon to share it to YouTube or Google Drive. This could be helpful if you want to share your videos with friends or followers.
